 Koesbandy, the artist (owner),
loves the teak wood so much, especially the character and the texture. So he is always hunting for the old barn, a broken bridge, old pillars, farmers wooden house or unique shape of teak tree as material of his work.
The hunting never stops, that's why his studio looks like a jungle of wood. But seems like he really enjoy it. He said " This is a heaven for me, because I always find what I need whenever the idea comes to create anything, anything at all "
He graduated from the famous Art University in Yogyakarta in 1985. Now it's been like more than 20 years since he opened Kus Kus Studio and he is 49 years old. He said " This is good number.
I feel never been better. In my whole life, I learn how to reduce 'making mistake' in every work that I've done and now I'm sharp and I know a lot..."
